Siri is 9 months old!

This is how I'm learning to walk.....I love it!!

Siri LOVES to crawl around...everywhere...and she sure moves fast now!

Mamma put Siri is a pretty TuTu dress....it accentuates her booty
and shows off her sexy chubba legs :)

Siri Natalie Hyde is 9 months old as of yesterday March 2, 2009......only 3 months away from turning 1, wow, time sure flies fast! Siri is changing by the second, it's unbelievable how babies can grow so quickly. Siri is crawling everywhere and anywhere....we put her down and walk away and suddenly, she's right there next to you again. She loves to stand up, more recently letting go and standing on her own for a few seconds before she falls right on her booty. She's already taken a couple steps as well, just want to be Miss Little Independent walking on her own! We thought her big booty and legs might weigh her down, but nope, our little Siri is an ambitious one....nothing will stop her from trying and trying again. Mamma looked at her last night and just thought, "wow, tomorrow, she's going to go to college!".

Siri is also babbling A LOT, "bababababababaaaa" and "dadadadadadaaaaaa". If you start doing it, she'll copy you. Unfortunately, there's no "mamma" yet :( It's ok, Siri shows her mamma love in other ways. She gives kisses....which looks like she's gonna eat you, hehehe.... it's just TOO cute, we just can't stand it!

We don't know her official stats right now.....she's probably around 25 lbs. And from the pictures you can tell she's a big girl. We'll go on our next doctor's visit in a couple weeks.

In a few days, Siri and Mamma are going to Paris to meet with Grandma. We can't wait, especially Siri, she told me she wants to eat lots of cheese, hehehe! After we leave Paris, we're going to stop in New York on our way back and meet some of our new fellow baby friends. Yay!! More exciting stuff to come :)

Siri is 7 months old

On January 2, 2009, Siri turned 7 months old. Mamma calls her "silly"....she's been making silly noises with her lips, tongue and her saliva, she thinks it's quite cute & funny, and well, it is :) Siri weighs about 23 lbs...and although were not sure of her length, she's quite long! Siri has been crawling quite a bit lately and easily can sit upright on her own. She's an extremely happy & smiley baby and loves lots of kisses, which we all love to give:) She really loves french bread....just to nibble on here & there, but she thoroughly enjoys it every time we give some to her. Lately she's been very brave & props herself up to stand, often times letting go, starting with one hand, and then the other and then ultimately falling, but it sure doesn't stop her from doing it over & over again (she's a determined one!!) We really have to keep an eye on her because she can move around pretty fast now. We're enjoying every new little thing she does and we can't get enough of our little girl!!

Lots of Love,
Lilly & Charles Hyde

Baby's 1st Thanksgiving

We started the day cooking a wonderful feast at our house and had the Hyde family over for lunch/dinner (you're eating all day so does it matter what you call it?!) While we enjoyed the Turkey and stuffing, Baby Siri enjoyed her sweet potatoes! Later in the afternoon we went over to my cousin's house in Fullerton where all my family gathered for Thanksgiving. Baby Siri got to see all her family on this special day :)

Things that change when you have a baby

1. You finally stop to smell the roses, because your baby is in your arms.

2. Where you once believed you were fearless, you now find yourself afraid.

3. The sacrifices you thought you made to have a child no longer seem like sacrifices.

4. You respect your body ... finally.

5. You respect your parents and love them in a new way.

6. You find that your baby's pain feels much worse than your own.

7. You believe once again in the things you believed in as a child.

8. You lose touch with the people in your life whom you should have banished years ago.

9. Your heart breaks much more easily.

10. You think of someone else 234,836,178,976 times a day.

11. Every day is a surprise.

12. Bodily functions are no longer repulsive. In fact, they please you. (Hooray for poop!)

13. You look at your baby in the mirror instead of yourself.

14. You become a morning person.

15. Your love becomes limitless, a superhuman power.

Siri's 1st Halloween

Siri spent her first Halloween day with her Auntie Julie and then later that night went trick-or-treating with Mamma and her cousins. I know she's in lots of different Halloween outfits but it's because we celebrated Halloween all week long :)
